UNBLEMISH 30-Day Regimen

We recommend that you use mild cleansers, moisturizers and sunscreens as you ramp up to using the Regimen twice a day. Avoid other products containing acne ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid, Retinoids, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, such as Glycolic Acid, or any scrubs and mechanical brushes, as they can result in irritation. The SOOTHE Regimen is a good option for your skincare routine.

You can use this skincare Regimen for as long as needed, but just because your skin is clear doesn't mean it's time to stop. Continuous use of the Regimen will help keep your skin clear. Once your skin has been acne-free for an extended period of time, you may consider shifting to once-a-day use of the Regimen and start introducing our REDEFINE Regimen or REVERSE Regimen into your daily routine.

Enlarged pores, especially visible on the cheeks, chin and nose, are a common cosmetic concern for both men and women. This problem becomes more prominent with age for two reasons. First, as collagen decreases with age, pores become flat and wide because they have less structural support. Secondly, due to slower cell renewal, dead skin cells and oil stagnate in pores. They turn from a light grey to black (blackhead) as the oil oxidizes. Fortunately, four of the Rodan + Fields regimens assist with reducing the appearance of pores: UNBLEMISH, SPOTLESS, REVERSE and REDEFINE.

Slight tightness or mild redness may indicate that your skin is adjusting to the ingredients in the skincare Regimen. This is a common occurrence and may last up to two weeks. if you experience dryness while using the Regimen, layer a moisturizer over UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment, such as Active Hydration Serum or SOOTHE Moisturizing Rescue Cream.

You can still benefit from the Regimen by replacing UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment (Step 3) with SOOTHE Sensitive Skin Treatment. This product features RFp3 Peptide Technology that works at the skin's surface to neutralize triggers and pacify skin. It's clinically tested to help reduce the visible signs of redness common in acne-prone skin.

Use of the Regimen will help control oil and reduce shine. if you have oily skin, the Regimen includes Invisible Matte Defense Sunscreen to reduce shine, absorbs excess oil and dries to a light-weight matte finish. The Invisible Matte Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is formulated especially for oily-prone skin but is not drying to other skin types. This lightweight sunscreen helps to reduce the appearance of oily skin and defend against UVA/UVB rays.

Your skin may need hydration! Benzoyl Peroxide could cause the skin to feel dry or dehydrated. Sometimes this may signal an increase in oil production. To help even dry and oily areas we suggest applying Enhancements Active Hydration Serum on clean dry skin at night then layering Acne Clearing Treatment. This oil-free light-weight hydrating formula balances out dry and oily areas.

You can also apply Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid Broad Spectrum SPF. This product is non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, and oil-free providing three forms of defense: environmental, barrier and photo (against UVA and UVB rays).

UNBLEMISH 30-Day Regimen should last 30 days if using the cleanser, toner and treatment twice a day and the SPF once a day.

You may use the Regimen to address body acne as well. Ramp up as directed to twice a day as needed to control acne breakouts on the body. When using the Regimen on the body, apply a lightweight moisturizer if skin feels dry. Be aware that Benzoyl Peroxide can bleach fabrics, so wear white clothing and use white linens and towels.

The acne cycle is also influenced by hormones, stress and other physiological and environmental factors, all of which may contribute to flare-ups. Having a few more acne breakouts when you begin using UNBLEMISH may be normal. Cystic acne is typically considered severe acne, and unfortunately cosmetic products tend not to be potent enough to effectively manage it.
