Jennifer: Hello everyone and welcome to the Rodan + Fields hair podcast!! My name is Jennifer Stading and I work in Product Education.
I am very excited today as we have a special guest joining us. Please help me welcome our celebrity hairstylist partner, Bridget Brager!
Bridget: Hi Jennifer, so happy to be on the R+F podcast today.
Jennifer: Thank you for being here. If you have been following R+F on social, you have probably seen Bridget. She is a prominent celebrity hairstylist, mom, and wife working out of Los Angeles who has been in the industry over 15 years styling celebrity hair for editorial shoots, red carpet events, fashion shows, and advertising campaigns. Her work has been featured in publications like Vogue, ELLE, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair, GQ, and Marie Claire. AND, we had so much fun partnering with her on the development of the R+F haircare products. From working with the Research & Development team at our labs in Berkeley, California on product formulas to shooting with the marketing and creative teams as an editorial director, she has been a part of the entire process and made sure her experience getting some of the most famous heads of hair ready for their biggest moments was applied to giving real women the best hair of their lives. Plus, we continue to work with her to gather tips on how to use the R+F haircare, fun on-trend styles, and so much more. Today, I am excited to get to know a little bit more about Bridget. Let’s get started!
Jennifer: Bridget, start by telling us a little bit about yourself.
Bridget: Hi Jennifer, I am so happy to be here. Thank you for that intro, its all true… I love my family, I have a 9 year old son, and my husband and I just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary… which is pretty exciting and insane all at once! I love to travel and lucky for me, my job has taken me y all around the world, in fact this last spring I circled the globe twice with my clients- getting them ready for various events… BUT a huge passion for me is my love for helping woman feel great about themselves, not only on the outside but the inside too.- This is a passion that R+F and I share, and is what really drew me to this brand and the community behind it. It’s been the most incredible partnership! I have met so many amazing woman… men too!
Jennifer: You’ve been in the hair industry for over 14 years, tell us the back story. What made you fall in love with hair and how did you get started?
Bridget: My Husband modeled for 20 yrs, brands like Versace, and Ralph Lauren… you name it- it was the face! ….
Jennifer: Such a cool story! Okay, you probably know what I’m going to ask. I really want to know what attracted you to partnering with Rodan + Fields for the launch of our haircare products?
Bridget: Being in the beauty industry, I have long admired the Doctors and having the opportunity to work with them was such an exciting opportunity I could not pass up.
I was also so excited to work with Rodan+ Fields as they launched into this new category – haircare! The brand has been a skincare leader for over 15 years and it’s not every day you get to work with a powerhouse brand on bringing an entirely new category to life. I absolutely loved being able to apply all my experience and learnings in my years as a stylist to the line.
You know Jennifer, throughout my career, I’ve worked on all kinds of hair types, textures, and lengths, and dealt with many different concerns from lack of volume to dryness and frizz and I loved being able to work on formulating a line from the ground up based on my experiences.
I have been an advocate for a healthy scalp for years now, knowing that healthy hair needs a healthy scalp – to grow, to thrive, to live in beauty. It doesn’t need products that simply cover up problems, never getting to the root of the concern.
